About Our Roasting Process

Upon arrival at our roasting facility, all beans are further sorted to remove any remaining imperfections and blended according to our patented, old world recipe. A quantity is decaffeinated, utilizing the Swiss water process, emerging 100% chemical and 99% caffeine free.

We then hand blend micro batches of beans to maximize flavor before roasting them to precise temperatures in state-of-the-are equipment. Our unique process assures even roasting and extracts all the natural flavors, thus maximizing taste.

These blends, produced by our master roaster, are unattainable in “single variety” coffees and unavailable elsewhere.

After cooling, they are readied for packing. As complex as our patented roasting and blending process is, our delivery to you is simple. Customer orders are individually packed, certified by lot number and roasting date to assure quality control and shipped fresh daily nationwide. They are available ground in 14 oz. consumer bags and whole bean, 5 lb. bags. The end result is a superior flavored coffee, smooth “drinkability” balanced with a hearty full bodied taste-the ideal balance, order after order, sip after sip.

You can be assured of freshness, since we roast it daily here at our King Pelican Coffee roasting facility.
